ABOUT THE PETIT GROUP
The Petit Group is an investment management organization currently focused on investments in small and mid-cap public companies and certain private companies. These investments are through several entities including Petit Investments I and II, Petit Capital, PHP Partners I and II, and Cox Road Partners I and II. Current public company interest is in the areas of oil and gas, agriculture, basic materials, healthcare, technology and defense. The Petit Group’s private equity focus has been in the areas of healthcare, information technology, aviation, defense, and real estate.
The executive experience for the various partnerships comes primarily from decades of investments and acquisitions made by The Petit Group’s founder and President, Parker H. “Pete” Petit and other family members and associates. These include William W. Petit, Pete’s son, Todd J. Campbell, Pete’s son-in-law, and Meredith and Carl Martin, Pete’s youngest daughter and son-in-law.
For private equity, The Petit Group is interested in investing in and assisting with, when appropriate, management of small and rapidly growing organizations that not only need flexible financing, but also seasoned business expertise. Pete Petit is a successful entrepreneurial executive who has also managed several public companies as Chairman and CEO. Therefore, his experience and perspectives are brought to the Petit Group’s investments.
Mr. Petit fully understands the entrepreneurial spirit and the associated trials and tribulations of growing businesses. The Petit Group seeks investment relationships in private corporations where its management and business expertise may be utilized in addition to its financial resources.
For public companies, The Petit Group is interested in taking significant and long term ownership positions where it can become acquainted with management in order to understand the business metrics in more reasonable detail.
Mr. Petit has spent 38 years developing numerous healthcare organizations. Therefore, there is a primary interest and focus in healthcare. The most significant experience in the Group is with healthcare services, technology and information technology. In addition, successful private investments were consummated in biotechnology, software technology, defense and an assisted living community.
